Hey, Tony here.
As a child my father had a chicken run in the backyard. I was assigned the task of caring for the chickens and removing the eggs from the nests daily. Now, being a grandfather myself and my grand daughter being so fond of animals I thought of building a Chicken Coop in the backyard myself.
This led me to having to find a way of Building a Chicken Coop myself. I didn’t want to buy one as that would just not have given me the pleasure of having my grand daughter involved in the building process and our pride in the final product.
Finding the right guide to build the chicken coop was the next mission. I nearly gave up and the thought of buying one was very tempting. But that would have defeated my objective and denied me the satisfaction of building it my myself.

I am the grandfather of a lovely 2 year old grand daughter who loves animals very much.
As a child my dad had a chicken run in the backyard. Caring for the chickens was my task and I had to collect the eggs from the nests every day.
As my grand daughter loves animals so much I thought it a good idea to build a chicken coop in the backyard for her.
An added advantage to having a Chicken Coop in the backyard is the daily supply of fresh eggs.
